About Us
Founded in 2017 by Shauny Huynh—a Sparks native and lifelong dancer—Luminescent was created to be a welcoming space where anyone can discover the joy of dance, regardless of experience or skill level.What began as a K-pop-focused team has since evolved into a dynamic dance community, embracing hip-hop, contemporary, heels, chair choreography, and more. Over the years, we’ve grown to 20+ dedicated members, taught hundreds of students, and expanded into public performances and competitive dance.Our passion and hard work paid off with a recent 1st Place victory at ANX K-Pop Battles Las Vegas—and we’re just getting started!At Luminescent, we believe dance is for everyone.
